You might be grieving for many reasons: someone you love passing away, a loved one being diagnosed with a terminal disease, your spouse filing for divorce, losing custody of your children, etc. The key is how you respond to your grief and figuring out how to get through it with minimal long-term damage. The worst thing for you to do when grieving is hold in all your pain and sorrow. You need support during trying times; without it, you won't get through it in a healthy way, and you will suffer more in the long run.
